Who is the "SHE" of shEmerge?
Beulah Davis was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised in Windsor, Connecticut by her loving parents, Casher and Dorothy Holt. Beulah desired to know God and be His daughter in the earth at the early age of seven, and has been living for Him ever since. She has served as a Teacher of God’s Word since her teenage years under the leadership of Archbishop LeRoy Bailey, Jr. and First Lady Reathie Bailey of The First Cathedral in Bloomfield, Connecticut. As Beulah progressed in her ministry experience, she joined and was mentored by Apostle Edward B. Haynes and Lady Jamie Fleeting Haynes of Resurrection Life Christian Center Church International in Hartford, Connecticut.
Beulah is an ordained Elder in the Lord’s Church and has served within her community as a ministry leader and Co-Pastor for over 30 years. She and her husband, Bishop C. Sterling Davis II, served for six years as Co-Pastors of The P.O.W.E.R. (Place of Worship, Empowerment and Restoration) International Church in Springfield, Massachusetts. During that time Beulah also hosted annual “Women at the Well” retreats throughout the U.S. Northeast corridor alongside her sister, Pastor Alesia Moore of IAR Bridge “Church without Walls” in East Hartford, Connecticut. Beulah’s family then answered the call of God in 2008 to leave the New England area for Houston, Texas, and plant a new church. She and her husband opened the doors of The Renaissance Church of Houston ("RCOH") in 2012. As the Director of RCOH’s Women’s Ministry, Beulah assisted with founding The Women of F.A.V.O.R., established to empower and equip women to live full lives in Faith, through Adversity; to walk in Victory; be an Overcomer and live Resilient lives in Christ Jesus. Beulah continues to enjoy helping others grow and live enriching lives inside and outside of the Church. She is a published author who uses her writing to minister to others as God leads, a certified counselor for Clinical Mental Health, and is passionate about galvanizing the Body of Christ to live God-centered lives.
Beulah’s greatest joy is her family: spending time with the love of her life of over 26 years and their children: Alesia Len, Kha’ryn Aleyah, Sterling III and Trinity Sterlynn. She joyfully embraces her role as Grandma of two amazing grandbabies, Kairi and Kamryn.
